8hrs of workshops – 2hrs of Lindy Hop, 2 hrs of charleston, 4 hours of solo goodness with International Lindy Hop sensation Alice Mei.

Alice started dancing at 4 years old. From 4-14yrs old she had the honor of interpreting almost every single Disney Character from “Dopey” to “Tinker-Bell”. She eventually joined a national dance school for another 4 years where she practiced Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz dance daily. Slowly burning out with these dance styles, she began to look for something new. After a few unsuccessful attempts at african dancing, flamenco, and kick boxing she eventually met her true love, Lindy Hop! Since then she has won numerous competitions and have taught all around the world in the past decade. And she’s a wonderful person to be around :)

Featuring Jazz Inc founder and International instructor teaching in his home scene Sinclair Ang, co-teaching the Lindy Hop classes, and Strictly Lindy SG founder Desmond Khoh co-teaching the charleston classes

Classes are for people who already know the basics of the dance. Non-dancers interested in learning can do beginner classes with Jazz Inc or Lindy Hop SG, or take a private class with Alice. Dancers interested in private sessions with Alice can also contact the organisers.

What – Swing by for a Sunday Swing Service with BBQ, free flow of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, a wooden deck under the starry skies for some swing goodness, and fabulous fellowship.

Don’t know how to dance? Don’t worry, the dancers at the party will give you a one on one to get you started!
